How about adding Matcha to it?

We believe that when you’re tired of the usual beverages around you, there’s always a set of new flavours awaiting you when you add matcha or green tea powder into it.

Aside from the fact that it can give you many new tastes, it’s also organic and has antioxidants to it.

As a leading matcha bar in the UK, we serve a variety of culinary-grade products infused with the best Japanese matcha in town– so don’t worry about tasting the cheap stuff. You’re far from getting that.

When you decide to dine with us, you’ll get to taste delicious, nutritious drinks and treats in a stunningly beautiful setting.

Matcha. Matcha. Matcha.

You might’ve heard of it one way or another– from a friend, relative, or co-worker– but matcha is the new craving as of late!

Matcha is made from high-quality green tea grounded in powder form. In ceremonial tea practices, green tea powder is steeped initially in hot water and removed later. The usual tea process we do. But with matcha, the green tea powder is whisked into the hot water to blend with other drinks or be drank as is.

However, although its roots may come from ceremonial Asian practices, in today’s society, matcha is now often used around the world in different ways.

We have matcha beverages, desserts, appetisers, salads, and many more.

And to pay tribute to its ceremonial heritage, HowMatcha sources its green tea powder from organic tea gardens in Japan.

This way, we provide top-grade green tea powder to everyone who orders from us.

FAQs

Is matcha a coffee?

Japanese green tea matcha is powdered tea that is increasing in popularity worldwide. It’s not coffee, but it does have caffeine.

There is caffeine in regular brewed green tea and matcha, but it is much less than in coffee or black tea. The caffeine content of matcha appears to be higher than that of regular brewed green tea. Additionally, it appears to contain a higher amount of EGCG.

Why matcha is not good for you?

Contrary to what others may say, matcha is good for you. Just don’t go overboard with it– like any other substance, too much of something isn’t good.

Taking matcha in moderation doesn’t appear to cause significant side effects, but taking it in high doses, especially if it contains large amounts of caffeine, can cause headaches, diarrhoea, insomnia, and irritability.

Is it OK to drink matcha every day?

Matcha is a natural product that can be used daily without any concern.

In terms of how much matcha you consume, one of the most important aspects to consider is its high caffeine content. It is also important to remember that you should drink (or eat!) matcha in moderation, listen to the body, and avoid caffeine after the mid-afternoon.

Is matcha good for your skin?

Having fresh skin is easy with matcha. It has antibacterial properties and contains huge amounts of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which helps reduce inflammation and aid in getting an even skin tone. Aside from that, this powder also contains antioxidants that reduce acne and increase skin elasticity.
